Achmat Jackson, The Managing Director of AJA, has been a seasoned and accredited hiker for the past 21 years and started High Altitude trekking in 2002. The first summit of Mount Kilimanjaro took place in the same year. The team have the ambition and full intention of climbing the Seven Summits; that is the highest mountain in each continent and has subsequently achieved 3 of the 7:
1) Kilimanjaro
2) Elbrus
3) Aconcagua
Their goal is that their determination can be an inspiration to their community where they reside and other communities’ at large throughout the country.
The team furthermore has a vision of inspiring others, that one can have dreams and achieve great challenges despite the disadvantages they may face, be it physical or circumstantial.
